Rotan Gas Limited (Rotan Gas) is a wholesale gas supply company registered in Ghana. Rotan Gas will import liquefied natural gas (LNG) to be stored and re-gasified on a floating storage & re-gasification unit (FSRU) located off the coast of Aboadze. The FSRU’s capacity will be more than sufficient to supply the gas needs of nearby independent power producers (IPPs) and feed into the national gas system.
The primary project sponsor is Rotan Energy Pte. Limited, a Singapore based company with interests in gas and power assets across Africa. Rotan Energy has strategic partners with strong development experience in Africa.
